Who Am I

My name is Maish Saidel-Keesing.

I am currently holding a position as a Platform Architect for Cisco Israel in Jerusalem and have been working in IT for the past 15 years and with a stronger focus on virtualization for the past 7.

I have extensive experience with VMware technologies, virtualization and cloud architectures, a long history with Microsoft Active Directory Infrastructure, server hardware from all the major vendors and and I also like to play around a lot with PowerShell.

Automation is the way things should be done - so I am constantly looking for ways to make my life easier.

I was awarded the vExpert award from VMware during 2010-2015 and am a moderator on the VMware communities and also on the Petri forums.

I have co-authored the VMware vSphere Design book the OpenStack Architecture Design Guide
and participated in the Technical Review of a number of publications.

I am the married to the most wonderful woman, the love of my life, have 3 amazing daughters and am very happy with my life.

I have presented at multiple conferences, including VMworld, VMware VMUG's OpenStack Summits, DevOpsDays on a various number of topics.

I hold several certifications including VCP 3,4 and 5, VCAP5-DCA and VCAP5-DCD  and I am actively pursuing the the VCDX5 certification. I also am a certified MCP, MCSA, MCSE in Windows NT4, 2000 and 2003, Novell CNA.
